Book Review
I
just read the book: The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users. This
book is co-authored by Guy Kawasaki and Peg Fitzpatrick.
I
read The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users. I have read it once
now. And then found myself taking notes. And then I went back over certain
chapters.
For
someone wanting to grasp the social media networks, this is like a good map to
a confusing place. It just lays out this site (like Facebook} and that site
(like Google Plus) and sure enough, these are the sites as well as others which
are explained as well, I personally
wanted to know more about how to navigate. I imagine many people find they face
the same dilemma.
I
especially liked suggestions to creating a profile on a social site. As I read
this book it was like a light bulb going off in a dark room. I began to gain so
much of an understanding of things which I personally would like to gain more
expertise in such as utilizing twitter for instance.
I
know that Guy Kawasaki has written several books, but this one is really a good
source of information and very timely for this fast paced Internet driven
social scene which has engulfed the interest of the World. It is nice to have a
guide to show you things, introduce you to some of the things they feel you
might want to see, and most of all share the wealth of information and learning
which they have shared in this book.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL GUIDE
