We are having a cold front, a little over a month earlier than expected.
I am a bird watcher from birth, and have always lived near a river. The birds I have watched for years migrate following the river.
So even though I knew it is supposed to be August, I watched for the birds to sound off as they flew over moving away for the Winter.
Yesterday they began to do this. It makes me chilled.
The birds have old ways, but these are younger birds, instinct kicking in from their ancestors and strength enough to make the trip. It is an exciting thing to hear the birds prepare for Winter's harsh realities and it makes me get out the sweaters and woolly blankets myself.
I am sending you a little video I made for Fall. I thought I would share this a little early myself.
