This is the photo of the Gremlin Movie Theatre on Attu
Island. IT was taken by Leo Halter, who was serving and stationed on the island
during World War II>
The theatre just happened to be playing the movie “Story of
G. I. Joe which was staring Brugess Meredith and Robert Mitchum. The image is
from the National Archives Archeological Site and is public domain via the
Wikimedia Commons.
